Charmed by the Love Contest Sleepypod

Christina Rabadan of Scottsdale, GA (a.k.a. @Confessionsofacrazycatlady) and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue are the winners of the second Charmed by the Love Goodnewsforpets 20th Anniversary Contest.  She won the luxurious Sleepypod Mobile Pet Bed a Goodnewsforpets.com Heart-Paw Charm and a Decoding Your Cat book. Sleepypod also donated a second Sleepypod Mobile Pet Bed to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, the rescue selected by Rabadan to receive a duplicate prize.  Goodnewsforpets also donated $100 on behalf of Rabadan to the rescue. In learning about being named the winner, Rabadon said,

“Thank you again for choosing me to win your amazing prize package! Smeagol is an adventure cat (he loves hiking and going to the beach!) but he never does well on car rides, so I’m very excited to try out the SleepyPod. The heartpaw charm is super cute and I can always use an instruction manual on decoding Smeagol’s crazy shenanigans!  I know Angels Among Us Pet Rescue will very much appreciate the monetary donation and also the donated SleepyPod. They are a foster-based rescue organization in Atlanta and are frequently pulling adoptable cats from rural shelters around the state and transporting them to foster homes, where they get loved on until they are adopted. During these crazy times, many of our rural shelters had to close to public adoptions so AAU is one of the few organizations giving hope to animals at these shelters. Thank you!!!”

The contest is in honor of Goodnewsforpets.com’s 20th anniversary. Pet lovers will have a chance to win a versatile Goodnewsforpets.com Heart-Paw Charm exclusively designed by Elena Kriegner, a choice of a prestigious American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB) Decoding Your Dog or Decoding Your Cat book, a special partner prize, and a personal donation to a local shelter or rescue of each individual winner’s choice. The local shelter or rescue will also be highlighted on Goodnewsforpets.com.

The Grand Prize will include a collection of products valued at up to $500 including items featuring the winner’s favorite breed or pet, Goodnewsforpets.com Heart-Paw earrings exclusively designed by Elena Kreigner and an additional $2,000 donation to the Grand Prize winner’s local rescue or shelter of their choice. This shelter or rescue will also be featured on Goodnewsforpets.com.

“ACVB is pleased to join Goodnewsforpets.com in celebrating its 20th anniversary with the Charmed by the Love contest. Unwanted behavior is the number one reason dogs and cats are relinquished to shelters and we welcome the opportunity to have one more way to educate the public about the importance of solving pet behavior issues with science-based training,”said Ellen Lindell, VMD, DACVB, president of ACVB.
