Robert “Bob” Szarvas, the father of our long-time friend and featured pet columnist, Steve Dale recently passed away in July after a lengthy illness. We didn’t know Mr. Szarvas, but if “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” as they say, then we know he was passionate about everything he did. Our deepest condolences go out to Steve and his family.
