Westminster, called “America’s Dog Show,” was broadcast via television for the first time in 1948.
The 2006 Westminster Kennel Club 130th Annual Benched Dog Show will be televised live on the USA Network from 8-11 p.m. on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14. Competition in each breed and variety may be viewed in streaming video at the Westminster Web site, www.westminsterkennelclub.org. This video will be available within two hours of completion of the judging of that breed.
