Westminster: Will the Lab Reign This Year?

If you’ve followed my goodnewsforpets.com blog posts over the years, you know that labs are my favorite breed — in part in tribute to our much loved pet, Randy Jo. Although they are consistently ranked as America’s favorite breed, they have never won Westminster’s Best in Show. Now, with the introduction of Ceva, a black Labrador in training to be a leader dog for the blind, my promotion of labs takes on a broader meaning.  But I’m worried — with several new breeds now in competition, what will that mean for my beloved labs?  Stay tuned!
