(Kansas City, Mo., May 5, 2006) ” Goodnewsforpets.com now features advice and expertise from Dr. Susan Little, who has joined the site as moderator of the newly added Forum section. Dr. Little is president of the Winn Feline Foundation and is board-certified in Feline Medicine and Surgery by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. As the first permanent veterinarian member of Goodnewsforpets.com, she will provide members and guests with answers to their pet health questions.

The Forum is the next phase of the site’s total relaunch. Guests will be able to register for the Forum and join discussions already in progress or post new questions. Forum topics will be predetermined by the staff at Goodnewsforpets.com and Dr. Little and rotate monthly.

As president of the Winn Feline Foundation, a not-for-profit group, Dr. Little works to provide grant opportunities for medical studies that improve the health and well-being of cats. She also serves on the Editorial Advisory Committee of Pets Magazine and is a feline consultant for the Veterinary Information Network (VIN). Dr. Little has contributed to numerous books and articles and presented her work at conferences all over the world.

Dr. Little received her BSc from Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada) in 1983 and her DVM in 1988 from Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. She has been in feline practice since 1990 and achieved specialty board certification in Feline Practice in 1997. She is part owner of two feline specialty practices in Ottawa, Canada.
