In honor of September being National Preparedness Month, we partnered with Pet Safety Expert Denise Fleck to teach pet parents about the importance of being prepared for any situation and include your pets in your planning. During the month of September we held a giveaway for a dog and a cat first aid kit, we had many entries and want to thank everyone for their participation!
The winner of the dog first aid kit was Michelle Cavanaugh, who exclaimed “I’m so excited to win the first aid kit! This will come in very handy as our girls are pretty rambunctious!” when notified that she and her two dogs, Sierra and Grumbles, would be receiving the kit.

The winner of the cat first aid kit was Patty Dennis. She was thrilled when notified and had this to say “I’m a foster mom with Kitten Rescue LA & I never know when an emergency will arise. I’m a HUGE fan of Denise Fleck. I’ve taken her workshops, and the skills I’ve learned using her first aid kits have helped me come to the aid of multiple pets including my own and even a few humans. With this new first aide kit for cats, I’ll have additional supplies and tools to help me assist even more when the need arises.”
