Restor-A-Flex™ Highlights
Restor-A-Flex™, created by Fort Dodge Animal Health, helps maintain optimal joint health in dogs and cats by providing the raw materials involved in the synthesis of synovial fluid and the connective tissue matrix of skeletal joints. If these raw materials are deficient, the process of cartilage renewal is impaired and the animal becomes susceptible to degenerative joint disease, resulting in a loss of mobility and reduced activity. As animals age it is important to help maintain their joint health.
Restor-A-Flex™ Tablets are chewable quarter scored tablets that are easy to give to both cats and dogs. Because some pets are finicky eaters, Restor-A-Flex Tablets can also be easily crumbled and mixed with their food or given with their favorite treat. Each tablet contains the following key ingredients: Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate and Manganese. Glucosamine Sulfate is necessary for the production of connective tissue in the body. It plays in important role in the formation of synovial fluid, bone and ligaments, and it is necessary for proper joint function and repair to joint injury. Chondroitin Sulfate protects cartilage from destructive enzymes and is a major structural component of cartilage, tendons and bones. Finally, Manganese is an essential trace element and is important in the development of connective tissue.
