As part of its ongoing commitment to educate general practitioners, the American Heartworm Society is launching Heartworm University, a high quality, six-hour curriculum for practicing veterinarians. Two internationally renowned experts on heartworm disease will team-teach at each venue to deliver a comprehensive curriculum, including timely topics. The expert instructors will be two of the following: Dr. Clarke Atkins, Dr. Byron Blagburn, Dr. Dwight Bowman, Dr. Ray Dillon, Dr. John McCall, or Dr. Matt Miller. This world-class CE program will be offered in various locations throughout the United States during 2009, including South Carolina, Louisiana, and California.
