KC Corridor Homecoming Dinner Set for Aug 25: Brakke Is Iron Paw Honoree

The KC Corridor has announced its plans for the 9th Annual Homecoming Dinner August 25, 2014 at the KC Convention Center Ballroom, Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to announcing Scott Bormann serving as guest host and University of Kansas Basketball Coach Bill Self as celebrity guest speaker, Ron Brakke, CEO of Brakke Consulting has been announced as the 2014 recipient of the Kansas City Corridor Iron Paw award. The award is given to an individual from research, academia, industry or government regardless of title who has provided significant global leadership to the animal health industry throughout their career.

According to the KC Corridor, each award recipient has contributed to the animal health industry by advancing innovation, education/understanding, public awareness, market expansion or career attractiveness/employment. Individuals who have positively impacted the KC Animal Health Corridor are given favorable consideration

Brakke’s experience in the animal health industry spans six decades. Since founding Brakke Consulting in 1986, Ron has built a team of 12 highly experienced consultants serving clients around the world. Nominations for the Iron Paw award may come from anywhere in the global animal health industry; however, the KC Animal Health Corridor Board or a subcommittee appointed by the KC Animal Health Corridor Board decides on the recipient of the award each year.
