Saturday Night Fever at Interzoo!

After a day of successful orders, intensive discussions and negotiations, things really get moving after the exhibition closes on the Saturday: Ooh, la, la, la ” the songs from Kool & the Gang, Donna Summer, Kiss and the Blues Brothers make the Interzoo Party a really hot 70s night. Under the glittering light of the disco balls, this year’s live band “”Hot Stuff”” conjures up the flamboyant glamour period of the past century for the Interzoo community.

Besides very catchy and danceable numbers from the Scorpions, Gloria Gaynor or the Pointer Sisters, one band naturally must be there:

ABBA. The German cover band “”ABBA Explosion”” provides a “”Super Trouper”” show. The Brazilian dance group “”Morenas Do Brasil”” also spreads the mood of euphoria with an acrobatic capoeira dance and their breathtaking samba show.

The party guests can amuse themselves between dances with table soccer, pinball or burst the balloon in the gallery area, fortify themselves with culinary delicacies from the international buffet, or enjoy a cosy chat or chill out in the Mercator Lounge. Live music from the “”Shortcuts”” jazz band creates that exciting romantic bar feeling again on the lounge terrace, which was very popular with last year’s guests.

The Interzoo Party for visitors and exhibitors takes place on Saturday, 15 May 2010, starting at 6 p.m. ” on the 1st floor of CCN Ost in the exhibition centre.
