Hoffman Appointed Ceva Director of Marketing, Companion Animals

June 21, 2011, Lenexa, Kan. " Ceva Animal Health today announced that Steve Hoffman, a 17-year veteran of the animal health business, has joined the company as Director of Marketing, Companion Animals. Hoffman reports to Brad Butler, Ceva’s Chief Operations Officer.

“Steve has an established track record of successful product launches and extensive brand management experience. He knows the veterinary profession and has an intuitive understanding of the pet-owning public. He is a strong leader and his expertise and contacts in the industry will be invaluable as we continue to grow,” said Craig Wallace, Chief Executive Officer of Ceva’s North American Zone.

Hoffman will have responsibility for the strategic planning and execution of all companion animal health products and related campaigns and management of the companion animal marketing team.

Hoffman was formerly Senior Associate Director, Pet Marketing, for Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica. Prior to that position he was Director of Marketing for Fort Dodge Animal Health.

Hoffman received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas and his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Vermont.
