Global Pet Expo Receives Two Awards from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE)


Greenwich, CT –  The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) recently announced the recipients of its annual Art of the Show Competition, and Andy Darmohraj, American Pet Products Association (APPA) Executive Vice President and COO, is pleased to announce that Global Pet Expo is taking home two of those awards.

Global Pet Expo is being awarded for Exhibit Sales Brochure & Prospectus in the over 150,000 net square feet category, as well as Sponsorship Development Program in the over 150,000 net square feet category.

“Our year-round marketing plays a key role in the success of Global Pet Expo and we are honored to receive such acknowledgment from the leading association for the exhibition industry,” said Darmohraj.

The Art of the Show competition recognizes excellence in promotional materials for the exhibitions and events industry. It includes 15 different categories of competition spanning three show sizes.

Global Pet Expo, the pet industry’s largest annual trade show, is presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA). The 2014 Show featured 985 exhibitors, 2,896 booths and more than 3,000 new product launches. Additionally, 5,597 pet product buyers from around the world attended.
