Germinder & Associates, Inc. Announces Dog Writers Association of America, Inc. Newsroom

(Blue Springs, MO., January 18, 2003) — The Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) is set to get new exposure for the organization with a general newsroom on www.goodnewsforpets.com. DWAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the interests of dogs through news and informational channels. The organization has been a media member of goodnewsforpets since its launch in 2000.

The DWAA newsroom on goodnewsforpets.com will promote the organization, its programs and its spokespersons as media resources. The new newsroom will also highlight the DWAA annual dinner on the Sunday evening of Westminster weekend on February 9, 2003 in the Ballroom, Southgate Tower Hotel in New York, at which time the awards for the writing competition are announced. Winners will be posted to the newsroom after the event.

DWAA in turn plans to promote the site to its members as a good resource of information for what’s happening in the pet and veterinary industries.

The Dog Writers Association of America began in 1935 at the Westminster Kennel Club in the old Madison Square Garden. The organization has nearly 600 members representing writers, editors, photographers, reporters, publicists, publishers, and editors.
