French Bulldog Wins Latest Goodnewsforpets.com Contest

New York, NY — July 26, 2010 — Goodnewsforpets.com has announced Hot Water’s “Freddie” de Quimper, owned by Margi Dorger of Lakeville, Connecticut, is the latest winner of the Goodnewsforpets.com contest. Freddie won a Warm Whiskers Pet Therapy Jacket. This great new product allows you to help treat your pets’ stiff muscles and joints. The heating pack can be warmed up to address joint pain and sore muscles, while the cold pack can be placed in a freezer and used to cool pets down on a hot day or to help with post-operative rehabilitation or injury recovery.

“We are so excited to have won the goodnewsforpets.com contest. Freddie and I have never won a contest before and we are thrilled! Since she is a French Bulldog, the cooling feature is especially important in the summer,” said Dorger.

Goodnewsforpets.com initiated the contest in 2009 to engage the goodnewsforpets.com community. To date, prizes awarded have included Swarovski crystal animal figurines, Planet Dog and other pet toys, Metropolitan Museum of Art note cards, and customized Flip video cameras and the Whiskas Pet Therapy jacket.

The Whiskas Pet Therapy jacket is a relatively new product and has been recently featured on Good Morning America. The Pet Therapy Jacket design enables pets to benefit from the healing properties of hot or cold therapy wherever it’s needed. This easy-on jacket has two closure straps and uses a Velcro®-type system to secure a separate attachment strap anywhere on the jacket to wrap around a pet’s target areas. The 100% all-natural and pesticide-free buckwheat and lavender filled red therapy packs attach everywhere on the straps or jacket, inside and out.
