Dr. Humphries is a 1977 graduate of Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In his 20 year career in the public media, Jim has been involved in every aspect of production and management of print, radio, television and Internet communications.
Dr. Humphries built his full-time media career from a once a week reporter slot on the ABC affiliate in Dallas-Ft. Worth to appearances with CNN Morning News, Discovery, Animal Planet, Family Channel, AP Radio Network, Business Radio Network and many others. Jim has been a regular contributor on CBS The Early Show since 1990.
He has written, produced and syndicated three television series on four cable networks. Jim has served as spokesperson on 21 national media tours for a variety of industry concerns and has given well over 4.000 television interviews in every major market in the country. He has answered over 30,000 phone calls on live talk radio. Dr. Jim has written for The Dallas Times Herald, The Bottom Line Personal, Family Circle Magazine and authored two consumer books on pet care.
Dr. Humphries is a Fort Dodge Animal Health spokesperson and owns DVMedia, an award winning video production company in Colorado Springs touting 23 National Telly Awards!
