Cat Writers’ Association Conference

FOSTER CITY, Calif. — If you want to know more about cats, and even dogs, the pet experts will be in Foster City, Calif. for the three-day Cat Writers’ Association (CWA), Inc. professional conference, November 17-19, 2006. Authors will be autographing their books at the 2006 Cat Fancier’s Association 19th Annual International Cat Show at the San Mateo County Expo Center on Saturday, November 18, from 1 to 5 p.m. Book signings are also scheduled at the CWA autograph booth on November 17, from noon to 4 p.m., and on November 19, times still to be determined.

Below is a listing of the authors, times for signings and some of their book titles. These include expert writers of non-fiction books such as how-to books for pet owners, veterinary resources and breed books, as well as humor and fiction authors.

The CWA is an international organization of about 200 published writers, photographers, broadcasters and artists who specialize in feline issues. Its professional writing conference is held annually in conjunction with the CFA International show, the largest cat show in the Western Hemisphere.
