Lea-Ann With Lola

We continue to offer our thoughts and prayers are with all those that have been medically impacted by the COVID-19 (Corona-virus) outbreak. We still have a long way to go and know that everyone is also impacted in some way economically by these challenging times. There are more obstacles ahead and yet with the love of our pet companions, friends, relatives and colleagues, we will get through this together.

While current regulations have curtailed in office business activity for our NYC office, we have taken a “paws” and temporarily relocated to our satellite office in Kansas City, Missouri. As I write this Kansas City remains under a “stay at home” order and the country has intermittent openings, we receive mail forwarded from the NYC location.  All mailings for our contests will either be drop shipped or mailed from Kansas City at this time. We hope to resume activity in NYC as well as Kansas City in the very near future employing appropriate social distancing rules.

In the meantime, we will continue to bring you “good news for pets within the context of COVID-19 as best we can — just as we have done the last 20 years. We encourage you to stay up-to-date in real-time about coronavirus for your own health at cdc.gov and for any issues related to your pet and you at avma.org/coronavirus. We understand that the news of COVID-19 affecting two cats and a dog is a concern, but these instances are still rare and there is no evidence that we can get COVID-19 from our pets.

Be safe and be well, practice the CDC guidelines of social distancing, washing your hands, etc. Please remember to check in on your human friends, but spend a little bit more time with your furry friends these days using the appropriate guidelines with pets. They need it too.

Sending a virtual hug your way…..
