Morris Animal Foundation 2011 Conference Symposiums to Address Advances in Veterinary Medicine

Nov. 16, 2010/DENVER-Chief scientific officer of Morris Animal Foundation, Wayne Jensen, DVM, PhD, MBA, will moderate two half-day research symposia, called “Research that Impacts Your Practice,” at the upcoming North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) in Orlando, in January and the Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) in Las Vegas in February. The topics will be valuable to conference attendees interested in learning about the latest Foundation-funded research that will advance companion animal medicine and the potential impact of these results on the way in which veterinarians practice medicine.

“These symposia will describe results from recent Foundation-funded companion animal health research studies,” Dr. Jensen said. “Our goal is to provide attendees with highly relevant information that they can implement in their practice to improve the diagnosis and treatment of disease in dogs and cats.”
