Registration Deadline Aug. 23 — 2011 Animal Health Investment Forum

This year’s KC Animal Health Investment Forum will feature presentations from 13 early stage animal health companies from around the world. A list of presenting companies is now available to approved attendees by contacting Chris Walsh.

Some of the diverse products featured at this year’s forum include a clinical research organization specifically for animal health companies; a vaccine for PRRSV; high value DNA based therapies for rare infectious & metabolic diseases; more effective, less toxic chemotherapy drugs; tests for bull fertility and bovine tuberculosis; genetic data management and storage technology; and a remote veterinary diagnostics instrument.

This forum is being presented by the KC Animal Health Corridor and will take place on August 30, 2011, in Kansas City. It offers one of the only opportunities in the world for companies exclusively in the animal health sector to present their vision and business plan to potential investors. This annual forum also provides an unprecedented opportunity for venture capital, investment firms and animal health companies to hear from emerging companies with the newest technology.
