2007 Winn Feline Foundation Funded Studies

Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded grants totaling in excess of $3 million for scientific studies, encouraging veterinarians and researchers to focus attention on the needs of cats. The Foundation selected eight studies to fund in 2007 for a total of $127,544.

Research topics for 2007 include feline mammary cancer, drug delivery using transdermal gel in cats, an avian H5N1 influenza virus vaccine for cats, stem cell therapy for feline kidney disease, and more.
