Our hearts go out to the Haitian people as they grapple with the tragic aftermath of the earthquake. Scores of search and rescue dog teams across the world are making themselves available to aid the stricken country. Major news outlets are reporting on all the teams. From the U.S., at least two organizations, the New York City Police Department (NYPD), www.nyc.gov and the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (NDSF) www.searchdogfoundation.org are sending teams.
