Animal Care Centers of NYC Holds Cat Adoption Special Throughout July

ACC Waiving Adoption Fees for All Cats One Year and Older

NEW YORK, July 1, 2015 – Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) is launching a “CATriotic” adoption promotion ahead of July 4th, waiving the adoption fees for all cats one year and older. The promotion will run for the entire month. ACC adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip, spay/neuter, a free office visit at a participating veterinarian and a free identification tag.

“We have wonderful cats of all stripes,” said ACC Adoption Manager Jessica Vaccaro. “It’s the purrfect time to adopt an amazing founding feline!”

Some 300 cats are currently available for adoption from ACC, and more become available every day. Last July, ACC took in more than 2,000 cats.

Individuals and families interested in adopting can visit one of ACC’s three Care Centers, open for adoptions 12pm-8pm Monday through Friday and 10am-6pm Saturday and Sunday (closed on July 4th):

Manhattan – 326 East 110th Street
Brooklyn – 2336 Linden Boulevard
Staten Island – 3139 Veterans Road West

They can also meet cats (and dogs) looking for loving homes on ACC’s Mobile Adoption Center, which travels throughout the city. The following mobile adoption events are scheduled for July:
