TheNorthAmericanVeterinaryConference(NAVC),theworld’slargestveterinaryconference,hasformedanagreementwithUK-‐basedonlinecontentsupplierVetstreamtobringitsvaluablecontentfromtheNAVCConferenceandtheNAVCInstitutetoveterinariansaroundtheworldaftertheeventsforthefirsttime.Lecturesandlearningtracksrecordedatthe2012and2013NAVCeventswillbemadeavailableviatheVetacademyweb-‐basedvideoplayerinthefirstquarterof2013.
Inadditiontoitswell-‐knownfunandface-‐to-‐facelearningenvironmentsattheNAVCConference,NAVCInstituteandtheNAVCExpeditions,NAVCwillbemakingavailableVetacademy’sextensiverangeofelearningmodulesonclinicalandpracticemanagementtopics,inanefforttoofferadditionalcontentforCEonline.
HeldeachJanuaryinOrlando,Florida,theNAVCConferencereceivesalmost16,000delegatesfromover70countries.Morethan350lecturers,manyofthemgloballyrenowned,speakattheevent,whichfeatures12differentdailylecturetracksandalsohoststhelargestmeetingofexoticspractitionersintheworld.SpeakersattheNAVCConference2012includedDrHowieSeim‘theVideoVet’;exoticsspecialistProfessorSteveDivers;neurologistDrRickLeCouteur;internalmedicinespecialistDrMichaelSchaerandsofttissuesurgeonDrBonnieCampbell.AccordingtotheNAVC,expectationsforthelecturesatthe2013arehighanditislookingforwardtoaddingasignificantnumberofadditional,high-‐quality,learningopportunitiessoonafter.
