NAVC & AAHA Team Up to Offer VetFolio for Veterinary Professionals

Orlando, Fla. – The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) announced today that they will team up in 2015 to present VetFolio, as a joint partnership.

VetFolio offers veterinary professionals the greatest amount of content and subject matter expertise in the veterinary profession.

For over 80 years, AAHA has had a history of producing strong educational content and tools that drive practice growth and success. Since 1984, NAVC has been providing quality education for veterinary professionals around the world at the annual North American Veterinary Community Conference. Recognized as the two leading nonprofit associations in the veterinary industry today, AAHA and NAVC have joined forces to offer a comprehensive collection of continuing education resources for veterinary professionals and their health care teams.

In 2014, the AAHA and NAVC leadership teams began the “what if” conversations that quickly led to the realization of the incredible synergy between our organizations in the form of a shared mission, organizational strategy, content development and commitment to the veterinary profession. Each association has an abundance of educational material that collectively will rival and surpass anything currently available to veterinary professionals.

The partnership between the two organizations is a significant advancement both for AAHA and NAVC, and for the veterinary profession as a whole.

“This collaboration is a major accomplishment for AAHA. Our accreditation standards are consistently recognized for boosting the quality of care and customer service, productivity and teamwork of a practice,” said Michael Cavanaugh, DVM, DABVP, CEO of AAHA. “As an organization, AAHA firmly believes that when individual practices grow stronger, the entire profession benefits. VetFolio, powered by AAHA and NAVC will absolutely help practices to grow and our profession thrive.”

In combining forces with NAVC to form VetFolio, all subscribing practices will be able to access AAHA’s in-depth collection of educational and practice management resources, as well as comprehensive resources from the NAVC Conference.

“As two associations committed to continuous education and the highest quality content, the NAVC is proud to join forces with AAHA to present VetFolio, LLC. Not only do we marry hundreds of hours of RACE approved CE with thousands of proceedings, but we are actively developing new courses and certification programs to improve the standards of care,” said Thomas M. Bohn, MBA, CAE, CEO of NAVC.

VetFolio is available to veterinary professionals 24/7 via an online portal, and also offers a doorway to peer networking that’s accessible online, anytime of the day or night, year-round. VetFolio will offer a NAVC Conference special for new subscriptions during the NAVC Conference. AAHA-accredited practices also receive a year-round discount.

Subscription levels are designed with ease-of-access for the veterinary professional in mind:
