In this issue of Goodnewsforpets.com, we recognize Matilda the Algonquin Cat of the famous Algonquin Hotel in New York City. The Morris Animal Foundation continues their Happy Healthy Cat Campaign with their latest initiative Helping Shelters Help Cats. This effort aims to raise pet-owner awareness of feline health issues and increase funding for research and scientist training. MAF is also a sponsor of the CATalyst Council, a coalition of the veterinary community, academia, organizations and nonprofits to champion the cat (www.catalystcouncil.org).
