Goodnewsforpets.com Contends As DWAA Contest Finalist

Goodnewsforpets.com is a finalist tonight in the Annual Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) Contest. The site will celebrate its 19th year of publishing in 2019 and has continuously promoted the DWAA organization since its inception. This is the first time the site has entered and been named a DWAA finalist.

“Goodnewsforpets.com has been digitally produced for nineteen years. We’ve promoted the great work of DWAA members, featured dog stories, important veterinary news and information, dozens of interviews and had dog columnists such as the legendary Ranny Green and Mordecai Seigal. We are honored and thrilled the site has been acknowledged by the most recognized professional writing association devoted to dogs. The recognition as a finalist reflects the site’s evolution this past year to bringing even more original and personal perspective to the dog-loving community. We are grateful for the honor to be among our writing colleagues as a finalist,” said Lea-Ann Germinder, editor and publisher of Goodnewsforpets.com.

Goodnewsfopets.com was founded by Germinder in 2000 at a time when no other site of its kind existed to showcase the work of DWAA members. DWAA was one of the first media partners of the site along with the Cat Writers Association.

Goodnewsforpets.com™ combines an award-winning website and social media channels to curate news of interest and importance to pet parents, veterinary professionals and the pet industry.
