Ms. Jodway, who recently adopted a Havanese Poodle mix puppy, was thrilled to be selected as the winner.
“I am so excited to have my dogs try it out. What a nice way to keep their food nice and neat while they are eating. Usually their food falls on the floor as they are eating and this will be wonderful for them and me,” she said. Ms. Pitmon has two cats, Dre and Bubba Cat, and was very pleased to win a cat Neater Feeder.
“I don’t think I have ever won anything from an entry like this one. I know my cats will love this,” she said. Ms. Pitmon came across the contest through the goodnewsforpets Twitter account and thinks goodnewsforpets has “a lot of very interesting things on there for pet lovers.”
The “Neater Feeder” promotion ran throughout the month of October on goodnewsforpets.com and Ms. Jodway and Ms. Pitmon were selected as the winners on October 31, 2009. The “Neater Feeder” was featured at this year’s SuperZoo Show in Las Vegas, NV and is a 2009 Pet Product News Editor’s Choice Award Winner.
