The top winning pets and their pet parents, Annie with pet parent Grant Smucker, Chaos with pet parent Alyssa Rouse, and Charm and her two other feline friends with pet parent Joe Canning, best captured the human animal bond with creativity to win the contest. Steve Dale, Joan Lowell Smith and I were surprised and delighted by the quality of the videos submited, all of which stand as a testament to America’s endearing relationship with their cats and dogs.
Also joining us this week is our newest guest veterinarian, Jessica Melman, VMD discussing winter ailments in our furry friends. Melman is a third generation veterinarian and now practices in New York City.
I am now attending my 15th Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) in Las Vegas, NV. It also happens to be the conference where we launched www.goodnewsforpets.com ten years ago. We handled both the first onsite newsroom AND the virtual newsroom. Here we are, after ten years, still going strong. While the North American Veterinary Conference kicks off the veterinary conference season, I also enjoy Western to reconnect with many veterinarians and colleagues in Las Vegas, share the latest news and see what additional new products will be available to veterinarians in the spring.
