Coming to Seattle: Veterinary Convention a Menagerie of Opportunity

Schaumburg, IL

— You know we’re coming to the Emerald City for our annual convention, and you know there’s been a lot of talk about our hosting the world-renowned fishmongers from Pike Place Fish Market.

Controversy aside, the American Veterinary Medical Association’s 146th Annual Convention is about a lot more than fish tossing. And we’d like to highlight a few of the programs for you and your news staff. We expect about 10,000 attendees, and our convention session lineup and exhibit hall cover everything from companion animals to global health.

For information on all aspects of the AVMA Annual Convention in Seattle, go to our Convention Web site at www.avmaconvention.org or call David Kirkpatrick at 847-409-0519.

The AVMA, founded in 1863, is one of the oldest and largest veterinary medical organizations in the world, with more than 78,000 member veterinarians engaged in a wide variety of professional activities.
