Philadelphia will host AVMA’s return to an in-person event

Registration is now open for the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Convention 2022, which will be held July 29-August 2 in Philadelphia, marking the AVMA’s first in-person convention since 2019.

The AVMA will also offer a virtual convention option from July 28-31, streaming select education sessions to attendees online and including an extra day of wellness and diversity, equity and inclusion sessions. All of the virtual offerings will be available on-demand after the convention.

Registration for the convention is available online at AVMA.org/Convention.

Attendees of AVMA Convention 2022 will have access to the most complete selection of veterinary CE anywhere, including workshops, panels and lectures taught by experts in veterinary medicine. Content areas include tracks in:

  • Companion animal medicine
  • Food animal/equine
  • Interactive labs and workshops
  • Poultry
  • Practice management
  • Professional development
  • Public and corporate practice
  • Veterinary technology

In addition, hundreds of exhibitors will be on site, showcasing and demonstrating everything from the latest high-tech medical innovations to pet products and services that will soon become available to pet owners.

More information on keynote speakers, special events, and other details of this year’s AVMA Convention 2022 will be coming soon.

Because the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, and because the health and wellbeing of attendees are of the utmost importance, the AVMA will be closely monitoring requirements in the city of Philadelphia and will update plans and protocols as necessary.
