Arden Moore does many things in the pet world: she’s an editor, author, professional speaker, media consultant and behavior consultant. She travels throughout North America to help the public better understand pet behavior through appearances on national shows, including CNN, Fox, and NBC’s The Today show.
Moore is a certified pet first aid, CPR and safety instructor with Pet Tech, a leader in hands-on training and pet wellness classes. She also hosts the popular “Oh Behave!” show on Pet Life Radio, the world’s No. 1 pet podcast network. Her guests have included Betty White, Victoria Stilwell, Rachael Ray, Jennifer Aniston and Dean Koontz. Moore is the author of 21 books on cats and dogs, including The Cat Behavior Answer Book, The Dog Behavior Answer Book, Real Food for Dogs, Happy Dog, Happy You and Dog Parties: How to Party With Your Pup.
Arden is the founder of Four Legged Life and creator of National Dog Party Day, a date every June to party with a purpose to raise awareness for pet adoptions. She is also the editor of Tufts University’s Catnip, and she serves as a pet behaviorist for Pet Airways. She shares her Oceanside, Calif., home with two dogs, two cats and an overworked vacuum cleaner.
