This is a tough publisher’s note to write. I had planned to post all the goodnews we learned at Global Pet Expo. The star power was tremendous — from the new products to the stars promoting them. As we started putting this issue together, we learned with great sadness of Mordecai Siegal’s passing. And so we pause here for a star that lent a bit of his brilliance to our goodnewsforpets site. From 2000 to 2009 he wrote 38 brilliant columns. We shared a lot — from our love of New York to the love of the printed word. The difference was, he knew far more about both. Mordecai, you will be missed.
