AAHA! Denver 2007 Offers Great Conference Destination, Top Quality CE for All Members of the Practice Team

DENVER — AAHA! Denver 2007, It’s Different Here, will be held March 17-21, 2007, in Denver, Colorado. The American Animal Hospital Association’s (AAHA) yearly conference offers a superior learning experience, lots of networking opportunities and unparalleled service from the AAHA staff.

“AAHA’s unique conference program offers all members of the companion animal practice team the best speakers in the profession in addition to practical take-home tips to improve both individual skills and practice success,” says Michael P. Andrews, DVM, AAHA president. “This year’s conference features an intensive leadership program, several great keynote speakers and integrated scientific and management programming.”

With more than 385 hours of continuing education, the conference has something for every member of your team. A new, full-day intensive program for AAHA-accredited members only, Extreme Leadership, will be offered to help you identify ways to more effectively interact with your team, improve your practice culture and inspire vision. Integrated scientific and management sessions are back by popular demand. This programming combines medicine with management to help you formulate an action plan to implement the latest medical techniques in your practice.

Along with the top small-animal veterinary experts, AAHA is proud to feature keynote speakers who bring a fresh perspective from outside the industry. Generational humorist Meagan Johnson will put comical spin on how to attract, train, market, manage and retain people from every generation, giving you tools to improve your multi-generational relationships with clients, colleagues and your practice team. Mt. Everest climber Sharon Wood will share an inspiring story of teamwork and dedication as she recounts her journey to the top of Everest.

Denver is the perfect setting for top-rate continuing education. Located one mile above sea level at the base of the Rocky Mountains, the Mile High City is an exciting place that has plenty to offer visitors — from downtown dining, shopping and theater to nearby ski resorts and mountain hiking and biking trails.

Regardless of job title, you are encouraged to attend any session. If you register for all five days of the conference, you are welcome to attend any session that interests you in the Scientific, Management, Veterinary Technician and Client Focus programs.
