Answer – The Kansas City Animal Health Corridor was formed in 2005 and is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The Corridor, anchored by Manhattan, Kansas, and Columbia, Missouri, is home to more than 300 animal health companies, representing the largest concentration in the world. In 2014 the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor released new evidence of the global impact of the KC region’s animal health industry concentration. Companies with a strategic location in the KC Animal Health Corridor now represent 56 percent of total worldwide animal health, diagnostics and pet food sales.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the KC Animal Health Corridor  along with the annual Homecoming Dinner. Three years after the start of the Corridor the Investment Forum was started, taking place the day after the Homecoming Dinner. The KC Animal Health Investment Forum is the world’s only full-day investment forum exclusively for emerging animal health companies.
