New Swarovski Lovlots Figurines & Jewelry Features Cats

In Goodnewsforpets.com’s quest to find companies that celebrate pets in unique ways, we came across Swarovski, the world’s leading producer of precision-cut crystal since 1895. The company is well-known for its crystal figurines featured in its retail stores. What is relatively new is its Lovlots collection. In 2006, the company launched a veritable colony of critters in the fairytale Lovlots City, with a mouse, moose, turtle, snail, cat, dog, cow, dinosaur and sheep all living happily side by side in the West End district. In 2007, the company added to the collection a cow, lion, giraffe, horse, pig and camel.

What sparked Goodnewsforpets.com’s attention was “The Gang of Dogs” featuring a poodle, a basset hound, a great dane, and a pair of bulldogs. The figurines proved so popular that this year the company introduced its feline line of seven cats called “The House of Cats,” all with their own unique poses, postures, and personalities.

The House of Cats Collection Also Offers Feline-Inspired Jewelry

Swarovski also celebrates the cat with feline inspired jewelry, including intricately crafted bracelets and pendants. The Mini-Cat Vintage Rose Bracelet is made from Vintage Moonlight crystal. The Mini-Cat Black Diamond Bracelet is cut from a Black Diamond. The Mini-Cat Vintage Rose Pendant is made from Vintage Rose Moonlight Crystal. The Mini-Cat Light Sapphire Pendant includes a blue enamel butterfly and a rhodium plated pendant. To learn more about the jewelry, visit www.swarovski.com.

About Swarovski

113 years ago, in 1895, Daniel Swarovski I, a Bohemian inventor and visionary, moved to the village of Waters, Tyrol in Austria, with his newly-invented machine for cutting and polishing jewelry stones. Today, the company, still based in Wattens, is family-owned and run by 4th and 5th generation family members. The Swarovski Crystal Society has close to 400,000 members worldwide, keen collectors of the celebrated crystal figurines. And in Wattens, Crystal Worlds, the multi-media crystal museum, has attracted over 7 million visitors since it was opened in 1995, as a celebration of Swarovski’s universe of innovation and inspiration, of crystal as the ultimate creative material.
