A: According to a recent survey of NAVTA members, veterinary technicians spend 17 percent of an average day nursing animals followed by anesthesia at 12.6 percent, client communication at 12 percent and laboratory work at 11.8 percent. These are just some of the ways that veterinary technicians contribute to the well-being of our pets.
