BlogPaws 2012 Pet Blogging and Social Media Marketing Conference Readies to Launch

BlogPaws, the original social media pet community and international marketing conference has set the “bark” high with its upcoming three-day conference taking place June 21-23, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

BlogPaws is a pet-friendly event that has made its mark in Ohio, Colorado, Virginia, and now, Utah. In addition to year-round media efforts, BlogPaws brings pet parents and enthusiasts together with each other, with the brands they buy and with experts that give actionable advice.

Guinness World Record, “Fastest Skateboarding Dog ” Tillman, and television’s famed “Super Scooter Dog,” Norman, will kick off BlogPaws 2012 after a video master class with Animal Planet’s “Hero Dogs of 9/11,” producer, Kenn Bell. Hundreds are expected to attend and registration is open.

BlogPaws 2012 keynote speaker is Betsy Banks Saul, founder of Petfinder.com. With an average of 235,000 animals being adopted through Petfinder.com monthly, Saul’s inspiration and knowledge are certain to inspire attendees. Additionally, over two dozen guest speakers will be presenting sessions on SEO, Pinterest, Tout, Publishing, Cause Marketing, and more, over the course of the event.

Pet lifestyle expert, author, humanitarian and television personality, Wendy Diamond, will be the emcee of the red carpet BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Blogger Awards Ceremony on Saturday, June 23. Additionally, pet advocate, blogger, and syndicated journalist, Steve Dale, is presenting a session at BlogPaws.

In just over two years, BlogPaws has held three national conferences, united dozens of pet industry sponsors with their direct audience via bloggers, Tweeters, those on Facebook and other social media channels, and has grown to a combined nearly 16,000 social media followers. Registration is open and the founders expect another record crowd. With the American Pet Products Association (APPA) reporting nearly $53 billion to be spent on pets in 2012, BlogPaws embraces the “pets are family” mantra.
