BioSecurity Research Symposium To Be Held In Kansas City

Monday, August 30
8:00 am to 2:00 pm (includes lunch)
Kansas City Convention Center
Room 2211

The recent successful siting of the National Bio- and AgroDefense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, Kansas will have significant economic impact in the region and serve as an important component of our national biosecurity efforts.

Join us at a research symposium held in conjunction with CVC Kansas City. The Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute and the KC Animal Health Corridor are joining forces with the veterinary schools of the University of Missouri and Kansas State University to offer this important look at the science of biosecurity.

This symposium will feature national and regional experts who will speak on the challenges we face to protect the nation’s animal agriculture, food supply and public health against biological threats and diseases.

This program was reviewed and approved by the AAVSB RACE program for 5.5 hours of continuing education in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE approval.
